FUNDRAISING OPPORTUNITIES

Becoming a Blue or Gold Sponsor provides a great opportunity for effective advertising if you are a business owner.  Also, it can be a great way to contribute with a special individual or family donation.

There are over 250 high school students that participate in the Elkins Marching Band and Elite Dance Team programs each year.  With the donations from our loyal community sponsors and special boosters we will be able to support these students music and dance education and their award winning performances.  Please submit your donation by August 4, 2008 to be included in all the promotions at your participation level.

The Elkins Band and Elite Booster Club is a 501 (c) 3 organization.  Contributions to the club are tax deductible under section 170 of the Internal Revenue code.  A separate thank you letter will be sent to sponsors with a copy of the club’s certification.  Checks should be made payable to the Elkins Band and Elite Booster Club and may be mailed to our Booster Club address 6140 Highway 6 Suite 94 Missouri City, TX 77459 or contact Ginny Farley (281-438-3499) for personal pick-up or questions.

Calling all Kroger shoppers!

If you are a Kroger shopper and haven’t signed up for the Kroger giftcard fundraising program, please contact Jackie Lehnhoff at Jackie.Lehnhoff@chase.com immediately! 

This fundraiser is incredibly easy.  Simply load your grocery money onto a Kroger giftcard and then use the giftcard to purchase your weekly groceries.  For every $1 you put on that giftcard, the booster club gets 5%.  That’s right…….5%!

So far this school year we have received $1,415 simply because a couple dozen of our Band & Elite families are shopping at Kroger.  Just think what we could make with double or triple that participation.  So please sign up today!  Sign your neighbors up!  Sign the grandparents up!
